Lễ phát động trồng cây nhân kỷ niệm 136 năm Ngày sinh Chủ tịch Tôn Đức Thắng (20/8/1888-20/8/2024)

(Cổng TTĐT tỉnh AG)- Sáng 15/8, tại Công viên Tôn Đức Thắng (phường Mỹ Bình), Liên đoàn Lao động thành phố Long Xuyên phối hợp Ngân hàng Lộc Phát Việt Nam – Chi nhánh Tải game Kinh 79 và UBND phường Mỹ Bình tổ chức trồng cây xanh nhân kỷ niệm 136 năm Ngày sinh Chủ tịch Tôn Đức Thắng (20/8/1888-20/8/2024).

 

Dịp này, đoàn viên, công nhân, viên chức, người lao động thành phố Long Xuyên, phường Mỹ Bình và Ngân hàng Lộc Phát Việt Nam – Chi nhánh Tải game Kinh 79 tổ chức trồng 20 cây Bằng lăng ổi (hoa tím), thay thế cây xanh đã chết trên các tuyến đường: Tôn Đức Thắng; Nguyễn Thái Học, Lý Thường Kiệt, Lê Lợi và Lê Hồng Phong.

Thông qua đó, phát động đoàn viên, công nhân, viên chức, người lao động và nhân dân trên địa bàn thành phố Long Xuyên tích cực hưởng ứng phong trào trồng cây xanh, nhằm lan tỏa lối sống xanh, góp phần xây dựng cảnh quan môi trường “Xanh – sạch – đẹp”, thích ứng với biến đổi khí hậu, tạo tiền đề, động lực thúc đẩy thành phố Long Xuyên phát triển nhanh, bền vững trong tương lai./.
